Ego-defense mechanisms among high school students.

Abstract:

Práce se se zabývá ego-obrannými mechanismy u studentů středních škol a jejich vývojem. Teoretická část představuje pojem "ego-obranné mechanismy", uvádí situace, v nichž jsou používány, a rozebírá jejich typy. Dále poskytuje přehled o metodologii při zkoumání ego-obranných mechanismů a o příbuzných výzkumech, které jsou s ego-obrannými mechanismy spojeny. V další části se práce zabývá zkoumáním změn používání ego-obranných mechanismů v souvislosti s vývojem osobnosti. Celá práce směřuje k rozboru ego-obranných mechanismů, které používají žáci středních škol. Poskytuje přehled o zátěžových situacích, které právě ego-obranné mechanismy vyvolávají. V empirické části se práce zabývá rozdíly únikových strategií, které používají žáci středních škol s maturitou a žáci nematuritních oborů.

Abstract:

This works deals with high school students, their usage of defense mechanisms and their development. Theoretical part deals with what exactly defense mechanisms are, in which situations they are used and the distinction among them. Furthermore, the theoretical part includes list of methodology used in research of defense mechanisms and other researches connected with defense mechanisms. The next part is aimed defense mechanisms connected with evolution of human personality. At the end of the theoretical part we dealt with frustration, stressfull situations, their distinction and which of these situations can be seen in life of a high school student. In the practical part we dealt with research design, problems connected with our research, goals of the research - detection of used defense mechanisms in stressful situations or in other difficult life situations as well as comparison of used defense mechanisms among high students either with or without graduation.
