Comparison of possibilities for continuing education for seniors in the United Kingdom and the Czech Republic
Abstract:
Tato bakalářská práce je věnována problematice vzdělávání senior na území České Republiky a Spojeného království. Analyzuje koncept aktivního stárnutí a celoživotního vzdělávání a monitoruje možnosti dalšího vzdělávání pro starší občany poskytované v těchto zemích. Také prezentuje porovnání hlavních institucí poskytujících vzdělání pro seniory a možnosti dálkového vzdělávání této cílové skupiny.
Abstract:
This thesis is dedicated to the issue of continuing education for seniors in the Czech Republic and United Kingdom. It analyses the concept of active ageing and lifelong education and monitors the possibilities of further education for the elderly provided in both countries. It also presents comparison of main institutions and reflects distant learning opportunities for senior citizens.
