Abstract:
This thesis focuses on Čapek’s The Makropulos Case from the perspective of law. In the first chapter, key arguments for including Čapek in the Law and Literature canon are established. Further on, Čapek’s philosophical views are examined and the thesis continues with the interpretation of Čapek’s work.
