An application infrared spektrometry and multivariate statistical methods for monitoring quality parameters of motor oils

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá uplatněním pokročilých metod tribotechnické diagnostiky. Spojení metody infračervené spektrometrie s Fourierovou transformací (FTIR) s vícerozměrnými statistickými metodami umožní stanovit i fyzikálně-chemické parametry. Cílem diplomové práce je tvorba FTIR chemometrických modelů v programu TQ Analyst metodou částečných nejmenších čtverců pro stanovení dynamické viskozity při 40 oC, dynamické viskozity při 100 oC a hustoty olejů používaných v hnacích jednotkách Českých drah. Základem bude stanovení požadovaných parametrů olejů klasickou normovanou metodou a poté vytvoření vhodného kalibračního modelu.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the application of advanced methods Tribotechnical diagnostics. The connection method of infrared spectrometry with Fourier transform (FTIR) with multivariate statistical methods will set also physicochemical parameters. The target of this thesis is the creation of FTIR chemometric models in TQ Analyst program by method of partial least squares for determining the dynamic viscosity at 40 oC, the dynamic viscosity at 100 oC and the density of oils used in the engines of Czech Railways. The basis is determination of the required parameters of oils by classical standardized method and then creation an appropriate calibration model.
