The development of Czech metallurgy from the begining of nineties of the 20 century

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá vývojem českého hutnictví za uplynulých 20 let. Teoretická část je věnována zejména rozboru čtyř, na našem území nejvýznamnějších, hutnických podniků - jejich stručné historii a výrobnímu sortimentu. Tato část dále pojednává o dalších celosvětově významných producentech. V teoretické části jsou také popsány vlivy a význam regionálních i globálních ekonomických jevů na odvětví hutnictví. Praktická část je zaměřena na analýzu odvětví po dílčích, na sebe navazujících časových úsecích, a to především na základě hodnot, které deklarují produkci oceli, dovoz a vývoz hutnických výrobků a také jak se tyto skutečnosti od-razily na vývoji HDP. V závěru práce jsou shrnuty zjištěné výsledky z praktické části a na jejich základě jsou navržena doporučení a nezbytné podmínky pro existenci a celkovou prosperitu podniků odvětví hutnictví.

Abstract:

This bachelor´s thesis deals with the development of the Czech steel industry in the past 20 years. The theoretical part is mainly devoted to the analysis of four most important companies in the Czech Republic metallurgical companies - their brief history and product range. Furthermore, the part of the work describes other worldwide important producers. The theoretical part describes the importance and effects of regional and global economic factors on the steel industry. The practical part is focused on the analysis of the sub-sector in successive time periods, in particular on the values that declare steel production, import and export of metallurgical products and on how these elements are reflected in GDP. The conclusion summarizes the results of the practical part and on this basis it proposes recommendations and necessary conditions for the existence and overall prosperity of metallurgical.
