Apoptotická eliminace buněk má zásadní význam během vývoje a udržování homeostázy mnohobuněčných organismů. Její funkce byly popsány také během vývojových procesů zubních i peridentálních struktur. Apoptotic cell elimination has a great importance for development and homeostasis in multicellular organisms. Its functions have been described also in formation of dental and periodontal structures.
