Development of fine motor skills using didactic boards

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuji na testování jemné motoriky dětí ve věku od čtyř do pěti let. Teoretická část je zaměřena na vymezení pojmu jemné motoriky, související pojmy s jemnou motorikou, vývojem jemné motoriky v určitém období dítěte a na vyšetření jemné motoriky. Praktická část práce se zaměřuje na výrobu třech didaktických desek. Konkrétně tedy na desku se sebeobsluhou, dále zaměřenou na domácnost a na zavírací mechanismy. Další část práce obsahuje testování dětí na těchto deskách. Testovány byly děti ze třech mateřských škol a celkový počet těchto dětí byl 42. Mezi nejhůře zvládnuté úkoly patřil úkol s tkaničkou, se sponou, se šroubovacími maticemi, s kalkulačkou, s karabinami, s uzavíráním č. 4 a se zvonky. Můžeme říct, že všechny tyto úkoly vyžadovali větší koordinaci horních končetin. Naopak mezi dobře zvládnuté úkoly patřily ty, se kterými se děti setkávají častěji. Jednalo se tedy o úkol se suchým i klasickým zipem, se zvonkem, s vypínačem, s husími krky a o úkol s vodovodním kohoutkem. V práci se následně nachází i celková diskuze nad všemi úkoly z didaktických desek.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on testing fine motor skills in children aged four to five. The theoretical part is focused on defining the concept of fine motor skills, related concepts of fine motor skills, the development of fine motor skills in a certain period of the child and the examination of fine motor skills. The practical part of the work focuses on the production of three didactic boards. Specifically, the self-service board, further focused on the household and the closing mechanisms. The next part of the work includes testing children on these boards. Children from three kindergartens were tested and the total number of these children was 42. Among the worst tasks were the task with a shoelace, with a buckle, with screwing nuts, with a calculator, with carabiners, with closing No. 4 and with bells. We can say that all these tasks require greater coordination of the upper limbs. On the contrary, well-managed tasks included those that children encounter more often. So it was a task with Velcro and classic zipper, with a bell, with a switch, with goosenecks and a task with a water tap. The work then includes a general discussion of all the tasks from the didactic boards.
