Reintroduction of Recently Released Prisoners into Society: a View of Social Workers

Abstract:

Předkládaná diplomová práce se zabývá specifiky znovuzačlenění odsouzených do společnosti po výkonu trestu z pohledu sociálních pracovníků v České republice. V jednotlivých kapitolách práce uvádí informace o základní terminologii, která je s touto problematikou spjata, pojednává o vězeňství a specifických skupinách odsouzených. Velmi důležitá je pro uchopení celé práce kapitola, která pojednává o sociálních pracovnících ve výkonu trestu odnětí svobody a resocializaci odsouzených. Praktická část práce se věnuje tomu, jak realizována sociální práce ve věznicích pohledem sociálních pracovníků. Výzkumnou technikou je rozhovor.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the specifics of of the reintegration of convicts into society after serving their sentence from the perspective of social workers in the Czech Republic. In particular chapters the thesis presents information about the basic terminology which is connected with this issue, it deals with the prison system and specific groups of convicts. For the proper understanding of the whole concept the chapter about social workers in prison and reintegration of cinvicts is of crucial importance. The empirical part describes how social work in prisons and the reintegration is realized by the social worker's point of view. The research technique is an interview.
