Abstract:

Jako téma pro svoji bakalářskou práci jsem si zvolila ,,Šperk pro někoho". Rozhodla jsem se vyrobit šperky pro ženu, kterou znám nejlépe, pro moji maminku. Hlavním zdrojem inspirace mi byla příroda. Výchozím prvkem bylo ptačí hnízdo, které se stalo základním stavebním prvkem celé práce. Hnízdo vnímám jako symbol bezpečí, ochrany křehkého života a důkaz rodičovské lásky. Výběr technologie, kterou jsem použila k výrobě konečných šperků, byl ovlivněn pavoučími kokony. Použila jsem technologii navíjení polyesterových nití namočených v textilním tužidle. Nit jsem navíjela na kulovité formy tak, aby vznikla různě velká hnízda. Rozhodla jsem se tedy doplnit nitěná hnízda o jednoduché ocelové jehlice, které umožňují variabilní připnutí na oblečení. Tyto jehlice nejsou k objektům připevněné, pouze se provléknou skrze otvory v jakémkoliv místě hnízda. Výsledná série broží vznikla jako poděkování mojí mamince za všechno, co pro mě kdy udělala. Také jsem touto prací chtěla vyzdvihnout důležitost veškerého života na Zemi, kterého bychom si měli vážit a chovat se k němu s pokorou.

Abstract:

The topic of my bachelor project is ,,Jewellery for somebody". I decided to create jewellery for a woman who I know the best, for my mom. The main source of inspiration for me was the nature and as the essential and basic structural unit I chose the bird?s nest. I perceive the nest as symbol of safety and protection of vulnerable life and a proof of parent?s care. The spider cocoon was the fundamental source to influence the technology I applied when making the jewellery. I used technology of winding on polyester threads soaked in textile hardener. I used spherical shaped casts for winding the threads on to achieve various sizes of the nests. I decided to attach steel needles to the cocoons enabling them to be pinned to the clothing in various ways. The needles are not firmly attached to the objects so that one can put them through random gaps in the nest. The final set of brooches was made as thanks to my mom for everything she has ever done for me. Last but not least I wanted to pay tribute to all the life in the world by this project and emphasize that we should treasure it and behave with respect and meekness to it.
