Software aid for MATLAB teaching\nl{}

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá vytvořením aplikace {--} společenské deskové hry, která bude využita pro výuku MATLABu. V první části se práce zabývá obecně programem MATLAB a popisuje jeho možnosti využití v různých oblastech, jeho uživatelské prostředí, základní funkce a postupy při vytváření skriptů, funkcí a vlastního grafického prostředí aplikací. Zmínka je zde také o serveru MATLAB Central, konkrétně o jeho části FileExchange. Druhá část práce obsahuje popis aplikace Fields Frenzy, její tvorby, použitých funkcí a programů při jejím vytváření. Tato aplikace je hlavním výstupem práce a bude využita při výuce MATLABu. Zdrojové kódy aplikace jsou přiloženy na disku CD-ROM.

Abstract:

This thesis delas with the designing and programming of the software {--} desk game {--} primary intended to MATLAB teaching. The first part of the thesis deals with the integrated enviroment of MATLAB and the description of the possibilities of its usage. This part also describes the basic functions of the programme as well as its working process of creating the scripts, functions and GUIs. There is also reference to MATLAB Central server and its FileExchange section in the first part. The second part of the thesis includes the characterization of Fields Frenzy application, its developing and functions and utilities used for its creating. The application mentioned above is the main goal of the thesis and it will be applied to MATLAB teaching. The source code of the application is enclosed on the CD-ROM disc.
