Abstract:

Beat generation je známá především pro své novátorství a otevřenost na poli literatury. Právě díky těmto svým charakteristickým postojům strhla tato generace lavi-nu následovníků. Jejich filozofická platforma má kořeny již u Walta Whitmana a sama dává základ hnutí hippies. Generace beatníků je nesmírně důležitým faktorem, který v padesátých a šedesátých letech utvářel Ameriku nejen skrze literaturu. V pozdějším rozkvětu se jednalo o vztah s životem a samotný způsob žití. Myšlenky, které představitelé tohoto hnutí sdělovali, ovlivnily masy lidí po celé Americe a později i Evropě. Beatnická filozofie byla pro Americkou kulturu uvolněním a v pozdějších letech se dostává na filmové plátno. Tato práce pozoruje vyprávění beatnických myšlenek filmovou řečí.

Abstract:

The beat generation is commonly known for its innovative attitude in the world of literature and their unique attitude inspired many followers. Their philosophical platform is rooted in the work of Walt Whitman and the beatnik artists are considered to be a foundation stone for the hippie movement. The beat generation is a very im-portant movement which formed the USA culture in the fifties and sixties not only with literature. In the later days of beatniks this meant affecting the day-to-day life of inter-ested Americans. The ideas which the leaders of this movement applied influenced masses of people and also transformed to the cinema screen. This paper observes the beatnik philosophy with the use of film language.
