Mitigation and adaptation measures in the management of cities and municipalities of the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je věnována managementu měst a obcí a přizpůsobení se změně klimatu. Všudypřítomné projevy změny klimatu nás nutí přizpůsobit se těmto změnám. Realizací mitigačních a adaptačních opatření se snažíme zmírnit a eliminovat negativní dopady, které ovlivňují nás samotné a které ovlivňují prostředí, ve kterém žijeme. Management měst a obcí je zodpovědný za ochranu svých obyvatel, proto se snaží být předem připravený na probíhající změnu klimatu. Cílem této bakalářské práce je ve vybraných městech České republiky vyhodnotit adaptační a mitigační opatření, která jsou implementována v souvislosti se změnami klimatu.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is devoted to the management of cities and municipalities and adaptation to climate change. The pervasive manifestations of climate change force us to adapt to these changes. By implementing mitigation and adaptation measures, we try to mitigate and eliminate the negative impacts that affect ourselves and that affect the environment in which we live. The management of cities and municipalities is responsible for protecting their inhabitants, so they try to be prepared in advance for the ongoing climate change. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate adaptation and mitigation measures that are implemented in connection with climate change in selected cities of the Czech Republic.
