Restoring of Velehrad Monastery in the 1st Half of 20th Century
Abstract:
Tématem bakalářské práce je restaurování a péče o velehradský klášterní komplex v 1. polovině 20. století. Důraz je kladen na objasnění restaurátorských zásahů, ale také na financování a dění na Velehradě v letech 1900–⁠1950. Cílem práce je zjistit, zda byly zabezpečovací práce dostatečné a také jaký neblahý vliv měly probíhající války.
Abstract:
The Bachelor thesis deals with the restauration and care of the Velehrad monastery complex in the first half of 20th century. The emphasis is placed on clarifying the restoration interventions, but also on financing and events in Velehrad in the years 1900 – ⁠1950. The goal Is to find out whether the security work was sufficient and also what an adverse effect the ongoing wars had.
