The master’s thesis deals with the collections of short stories Nedělní povídky, Ad Hoc!, Čtyři odvážné povídky and Durové motivy by Karel Matěj Čapek-Chod. The main topic of the paper is the analysis of their literary characters. The work contains a chapter devoted to the life of Karel Matěj Čapek-Chod, which was reflected in his stories, and the people he met, who often became models for his characters …more
