Neglected children from non-functioning families in childcare facilities requiring immediate help

Abstract:

Autorka diplomové práce se zabývá tématikou zanedbaných dětí z nefunkčních rodin umístěných v zařízení pro děti vyžadující okamžitou pomoc. První, teoretická část, je zaměřena na vysvětlení základních pojmů, je věnována problematice zanedbávání péče o dítě, syndromu CAN, tématu rodiny, její funkčnosti, rodičovství, v závěru je pozornost upřena na činnost zařízení pro děti vyžadující okamžitou pomoc. Druhá, praktická část, je věnována kvalitativnímu výzkumu. Jejím cílem bylo zhodnotit, zda děti umístěné v zařízení vyžadující okamžitou pomoc vykazují znaky zanedbání, a jaký vliv má pobyt v zařízení ústavního typu na dítě. Jako design výzkumu byly použity případové studie celkem šesti dětí poznamenaných umístěním v zařízení pro děti vyžadující okamžitou pomoc na pracovišti v Havířově. Jako výzkumná kvalitativní technika byla použita analýza dokumentů. Autorka práce se zaměřila na důvody umístění dětí do zařízení, průběh jejich pobytu a na stav, v jakém ze zařízení odcházejí. Výsledky výzkumu jsou v práci uvedeny v tabulkách a v konečném schématu.

Abstract:

The text of the abstract. The author of the thesis deals with the topic of neglected children from non-functioning families in childcare facilities requiring immediate help. The first, theoretical part, is focused on the explanation of basic terms, it deals with the neglect of child care, the CAN syndrome, the family theme, its functionality, parenthood, in the end the attention is focused on the activities of facilities for children requiring immediate help. The second part is devoted to qualitative research. Its aim was to assess whether children placed in a facility requiring immediate assistance show signs of neglect and how they have a child in the institutional care facility. As a research design, case studies of a total of six children marked by placement in a facility for children requiring immediate help at the workplace in Havířov were used. As a qualitative research technique, document analysis was used. The author of the thesis focused on the reasons of placing children in the facility, the course of their stay and the state in which they leave the facility. The results of the research are presented in the tables and in the final scheme.
