Tipping: empirical research of Czech hair stylists' customers

Abstract:

Předmětem bakalářské práce „Spropitné: empirický výzkum chování zákazníků českých kadeřnictví“ je zjistit, jaké faktory ovlivňují výši spropitného, jež zanechají zákazníci svým kadeřníkům. V úvodu práce se věnuji rešerši literatury zabývající se spropitným v restauracích a kadeřnictvích. V následující kapitole představuji použité proměnné a jejich popisné statistiky. Dále se v této kapitole zabývám popisem dat, která byla sbírána za pomocí dotazníků vyplněných hosty čtyř brněnských kadeřnictví. Závěrečné dvě kapitoly rozebírají provedenou regresní analýzu a diskutují její výsledky s výzkumy uvedenými v první kapitole.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor thesis „Tipping: Empirical research of Czech hair stylists´ customers.” is to find out which factors influence the amount of tip that customers leave their hairdressers. The thesis opens with a literature searches dealing with tipping in restaurants and hairdressing salons. It is followed by a chapter on presenting variables and their descriptive staistics. In addition, this chapter deals with the description of the data, which were collected using questionnaires filled by guests of four chosen hairdressing salons situated in Brno. The final two chapters discuss regression analysis results with the previous studies, mentioned in the beginning part.
