Abstract:

Smyslem této diplomové práce bylo podrobněji popsat život a působení Bohumila Boudy (1896 – 1960), prvního ředitele Městské hudební školy v Jihlavě, která byla založena roku 1924 a funguje v tomto městě dodnes. Postupně byly v této práci zmapovány oblasti Boudova působení jako klavírního virtuosa, hudebního pedagoga, sbormistra a dirigenta, sběratele horáckých lidových písní a skladatele, a v neposlední řadě pak organizátora hudebního života na Jihlavsku.

Abstract:

The aim of this diploma thesis was to describe the life and work of Bohumil Bouda (1896 – 1960), the first headmaster of the school of music in Jihlava, which was founded in 1924 and functions in this town up to the present day. The main areas of Bouda’s occupations were subsequently depicted in this thesis, with the look of himself as a piano virtuoso, music educator, choirmaster and conductor, a collector of traditional highland folksongs, composer and an organizer of the culture life in Jihlava
