Preventive Enlargement of Airport For Humanitarian Aid Logistics

Abstract:

Práce si klade za cíl navrhnutí preventivního opatření, které umožňuje snížení sekundárních škod na zdraví a životech lidí při přírodních katastrofách. Jeden z hlavních faktorů, jenž determinuje tento fakt, je špatný stav letišť a jejich nedostatečné kapacity. Obsahem bakalářské práce je volba vhodných kritérií pro výpočet a jejich zdůvodnění, dále pak samotný model výpočtu určující, které letiště je vhodné pro rozšíření a v poslední řadě část věnující se technické a organizační stránce provedení zvýšení kapacity letišť. Práce je reakcí na rostoucí potřebu diskuze ohledně zlepšení lidské bezpečnosti a krizového řízení v době 21. století.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to propose a method for building precautionary measures during natural disasters. These measures are designed to decrease secondary damage to the health and lives of the population. Secondary damage is often caused by a defective coordination of humanitarian help. The area of focus are low capacities of designated airports and insufficient condition of their technical background. The core of the bachelor thesis is in the choice of appropriate criteria for calculation of a most suitable model for airport's expansions. Organizational and technical specifications connected with the process are also analyzed. The framework of the thesis is based on an increasing need for a discussion of an improvement on human security and crisis management in 21. century.
