Language changes of dialectal texts

Abstract:

Diplomová práce „Porozumění nářečním textům z hlediska generace současných žáků ZŠ“ pojednává o dialektu Kunovic a zkoumá míru užívání nářečí v této oblasti u starší a mladší generace. Výzkum byl proveden u starší generace, která se narodila v letech 1923 - 1946 a u žáků 9. třídy ZŠ Červená cesta v Kunovicích, kteří se narodili v letech 1993 - 1994. Z výsledků výzkumu plyne skutečnost, že starší generace používá dialekt ve větší míře než generace mladší. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a praktickou. V úvodu teoretické části jsou popsány Kunovice, rozdělení českých nářečí, základní znaky kunovického nářečí, srovnání nářečních znaků s dnešní podobou a nářečí z hlediska kultury a vyučování českému jazyku. V praktické části práce je analyzována daná mluva na základě korpusu získaného dotazníkovou metodou.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis entitled „Understanding of texts in dialect by the generation of today´s pupils “deals with Kunovice dialect and looks into the extent of dialect usage in this region by both older and younger generations. The research was carried out among the older generation, dealing with people who were born between 1923 and 1946, and also among the younger generation of pupils attending the ninth grade of the elementary school Červená cesta in Kunovice. These pupils were born between 1993 and 1994. The results of the research show that the older generation uses the dialect to a larger extent than the younger generation. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. Introduction of the theoretical part deals with a description of the town Kunovice, different kinds of Czech dialects, basic features of the dialect in Kunovice, comparison of dialect features with words which are used nowadays and it also deals with the dialect from the point of view of the culture and teaching of the Czech language. The practical part deals with analysis of the research in question, on the basis of the results gained by the questionnaire method.
