Individual faith - case study of a free corps

Abstract:

Anotace Dnes, kdy se zdá, že tradiční hodnoty jsou překonány a že zajímavý pohled na svět můžeme nalézt pouze v nových věcech, v době kdy mnoho lidí experimentuje s různými životními filosofiemi, často orientálního či mystického charakteru, je cílem této práce poukázat na to, že i tak tradiční hodnoty, jako jsou původní křesťanský pohled na svět si v současném pluralizovaném světě mohou najít své místo a významným způsobem ovlivňovat životní filosofii lidí. Základním předpokladem empirické studie svobodného sboru, jež je obsahem analytické části této práce, je, že nedochází ke snižování tendence k religiozitě člověka jako takového. Ale naopak, že s poklesem významu náboženských institucí dochází k rozmachu transformovaného náboženství, jehož významnou komponentou je individualizovaná víra. Svobodné sbory tak reprezentují malý výsek reality potvrzující životnost konceptu transformovaného náboženství.

Abstract:

Annotation Nowadays, when it seems that the traditional values have become a thing of the past and that the interesting view of the world can be obtained only through new things, in the time when many people experiment with diverse life philosophies, often of oriental or mystic character, the aim of this thesis is to point out that also such traditional values as the original Christian view of the world can find its place in the current pluralized world and influence life philosophy of people. The basic assumption of the empiric study of a free corps which is the content of the analytical part of the work, is that it does not come up to a decrease in a religiosity of a person as such. But conversely, that with a decrease of significance of the religious institutions, it comes up to an expansion of transformed religion of which a significant component is the individualized faith. Free corps than represent a small section of the reality confirming vitality of the concept of transformed religion.
