Diplomová práce se zabývá tématem kořenových čistíren. Shrnuje princip čištění odpadních vod a v nich probíhajících procesů. V literární rešerši je dále uveden přehled platné legislativy spojené s KČOV a s čištěním odpadních vod. This thesis deals with the topic of CTWs. The thesis summarizes principle of wastewater treatment and ongoing processes. There is also an overview of legislation related to CTWs and wastewater treatment. Following part of the work is devoted to the design of the CTW for the municipality of Malé Žernoseky including the design of a suitable location.
