Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce v teoretické části nejprve definuje základní pojmy jako kyberprostor a kyberkriminalita, následně pak analyzuje historii vzniku malwaru obecně. Práce se dále zaměřuje na vznik a vývoj malwaru typu ransomware, definuje jej a popisuje, jakým způsobem proběhl vybraný útok v minulosti. Posuzuje také vznik a vývoj právního základu pro postih útoku tímto specifickým typem škodlivého kódu a analyzuje právní odpovědnost související s jeho nezákonným použitím. V závěru teoretické části práce uvádí seznam doporučení jak postupovat v případě aktuální nákazy ransomwarem, stejně tak jak mu předejít, případně co dělat s již infikovaným zařízením. Na základě teoretických poznatků jak ransomware funguje, je v praktické části práce provedeno jeho vytvoření a následné spuštění v chráněném virtuálním prostředí.

Abstract:

In the theoretical part, this thesis first defines basic concepts such as cyberspace and cybercrime, then it analyzes the history of malware in general. The thesis also focuses on the origin and development of ransomware-type of malware, which is defined. The thesis also describes how the selected attack took place in the past. It also focuses on the emergence and development of a legal basis for punishing an attack with this specific type of malicious code and assesses the legal liability associated with its illegal use. At the end of the theoretical part of the work, there is a list of recommendations on how to proceed in the case of a current ransomware infection, as well as how to prevent it, or what to do with an already infected device. Based on theoretical findings of how ransomware works, in the practical part of the work, its creation and subsequent execution in a protected virtual environment is performed.
