"Longing for Procida", the lost of home, the language and cultural change in the life and work of Ota Filip
Abstract:
This diploma work deals with the life and literary activities of Czech-German author and publicist Ota Filip. The main aim is to systemize his work, from the time, language and thematic points of views. The diploma work concentrates on enquiring the changes witch followed the emigation to Germany. The imdividual chapter is devoted to the analysis of the novel "Longing for Procida".
Abstract:
Die Diplomarbeit beschäftigt sich mit dem Leben und mit der literarischen Tätigkeit des deutsch-tschechischen Schriftstellers Ota Filip. Das Hauptziel der Arbeit ist die Systematisierung des gesamten Werks, und zwar aus dem Gesichtspunkt der Zeit, des Themas und der Sprache.Die Arbeit konzentriert sich weiter auf die Untersuchung der Veränderungen, die sich nach der Emigration nach Deutschland vollzogen …more
