Encryption and Cryptology in Teaching Informatics

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce je tvorba podpůrného textu a metodických materiálů s řešenými příklady v oblasti kybernetické bezpečnosti, se zaměřením na šifrování a kryptologii ve výuce informatiky a v zájmových kroužcích. Práce obsahuje teoretickou část, kde jsou popsány základy kryptologie, nejdůležitější pojmy, historické zajímavosti a jsou zde také podrobně vysvětleny jednotlivé šifrové a kódové systémy i s jejich metodami řešení. V praktické části jsou pro tyto systémy vytvořeny postupy jak pro šifrování, tak i pro dešifrování. Přínosem této práce je seznámení žáků s kryptologií a vytvoření metodických materiálů pro učitele k výuce informatiky na základních a středních školách. Výstupem této práce jsou výukové prezentace, metodické listy, pracovní listy s neřešenými úlohami pro žáky, pracovní listy s řešenými úlohami pro učitele a testy.

Abstract:

The aim of this diploma thesis is creation of supporting text and methodical materials with solved examples in the area of cyber security, focusing on encryption and cryptology in teaching of computer science at schools and after school activities. The thesis contains a theoretical part, which describes the basics of cryptology, the most important concepts, historical interests, and explains the individual cipher and code systems with their methods of solution. In the practical part, encryption and decryption procedures are developed for these systems. The benefit of this work is to introduce students to cryptology and create methodical materials for teachers to teach computer science at elementary and secondary schools. The outputs of this work are teaching presentations, methodical sheets, worksheets with unresolved tasks for students, worksheets with solved tasks for teachers and tests.
