Untraditional and ephemeral material in lessons of art on 1st.grade primary school

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce je přispět zjištěnými poznatky ke zkvalitnění výuky výtvarné výchovy na 1. stupni základní školy. Tato zjištění mohou pomoci učitelům k získání nových informací. Učitelé mohou tuto diplomovou práci použít jako inspiraci při hledání nových námětů při práci s dětmi ve výtvarné výchově na 1. stupni základní školy. Ve své práci se zaměřuji na činnosti, při kterých je využit netradiční a pomíjivý materiál, který je jen zřídka využíván na 1. stupni základních škol. Tyto činnosti učitelé nezařazují do své výuky, protože jsou pro ně časově i finančně náročnější. Mohou žáci pochopit, že činnost, při které nevznikne trvalý hmotný artefakt, má pro ně nějaký smysl? Pochopí žáci význam toho, co jim přinese výrobek, který zkonzumují? Uvědomují si, že i umělecký prožitek je posune dále?

Abstract:

The target of this thesis is to obtain experience by improving the quality of the arts for 1st grade Primary school. Such experience could help teachers to gain new informations. The teachers can use this thesis as an inspiration for looking for a new theme of the arts for 1st grade Primary school. In my thesis I focus on activities in which the material is untraditional and temporary. Which is not oftenly used in Primary schools. Teachers do not used such activities in their lessons, because it takes them too long and is financially more expensive. Can the pupils understand that the activity they create is only a semi-permanent product, does this make sense to them? Will the pupils understand the significance of a product which is consumed by them? Do they realize that even the experience of this art will help them move forward?
