Práce analyzuje management města a obcí, zabývá se aplikací zásad managementu do řízení obce, dále analyzuje typy organizačních struktur jednotek územní samosprávyPraktická část práce se zabývá zkoumáním organizační struktury města Trutnova, strategickým plánem města, hodnocením a podává návrhy na zlepšení.
