Age Management in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá tématem age managementu, které je vzhledem k demografickému trendu složení obyvatelstva velice aktuální především ve vyspělých zemích. Age management je součást oblasti řízení lidských zdrojů, která se zabývá využíváním potenciálu věkové diverzity pracovníků podniku, především v kontextu týmové práce. V práci je téma nejprve zmapováno pomocí literární rešerše, pomocí hypotéz je určen směr výzkumu. Následně je realizováno výzkumné dotazníkové šetření mezi personálními manažery ve vybraných českých podnicích. Získaná data jsou zpracována statistickými metodami, v závěru práce jsou pak formulovány limity výzkumu a diskuse nad výsledky.

Abstract:

This master thesis deals with the problem of age management, which appears to be very actual issue considering the population structure, especially in developed countries. Age management is a part of human relations management and covers ways of using the potential of employees’ age diversity, mainly in the context of teamwork. Firstly, the thesis covers the topic by literary research, the direction of the main research is ensured by formulating hypotheses. The survey is carried out among HR managers of selected companies in the Czech Republic. Received data are processed with statistic methods and findings and limits of the research and discussion is provided in the end.
