The financial impact of the optimization of logistic processes in the chosen company

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na finanční dopady optimalizací provedených v podniku BUPOSPOL, Armaturka Koukol spol. s r. o. Krom finančních dopadů se práce zaměřuje také na úsporu času a tím zvýšení efektivity vedoucí k vyšší konkurenceschopnosti podniku. V teoretické části práce jsou nastíněny aspekty, kterým je vhodné věnovat zvýšenou pozornost, a definice, které osvětlují řešenou problematiku. Metody optimalizace, které jsou v této práci uvedeny, jsou v souladu s teoretickými poznatky z literární rešerše provedeny s co nejnižšími náklady a tak, aby je bylo vždy možné vrátit do předešlého stavu. S tím souvisí jejich náročnost časová i náročnost implementace. Postupné provádění veškerých optimalizací je popsáno v praktické části této práce a předchází mu fáze zjišťování potřebných informací. Tyto informace jsou v závěru práce porovnány s nově zjištěnými daty ve shodných jednotkách a výsledný efekt je prezentován vedení organizace. Závěrem práce je řečeno, že i s relativně malými vstupními náklady lze u podniku, který nebyl dosud optimalizován, dosáhnout značné finanční úspory a podstatného zvýšení efektivity zejména ve výrobní části podniku. Provedenými optimalizacemi byla eliminována nebo velmi potlačena téměř všechna problematická místa, která byla pozorováním odhalena, a tím došlo k urychlení celého hodnototvorného procesu. Finančním dopadem těchto optimalizací je finanční úspora, která v prvním roce, ve kterém byly optimalizace realizovány, činí 377.407,58,- Kč, přičemž teoretická finanční úspora pro rok následující činí 431.307,58,- Kč. Tato práce rovněž poslouží podniku jako podklad pro budoucí jednoduché i kontinuální metody optimalizace.

Abstract:

This thesis is focused on the financial impact of optimization performed in the company BUPOSPOL, Armaturka Koukol spol. s r. o. Besides the financial impact, this thesis is also focused on time saving improvements and increasing the efficiency of the company which leads to increased competitivness. The theoretical part outlines the aspects, to which you should pay close attention and definitions, which helps with understanding to solved problems. Optimization methods that are presented in this thesis are based on the theoretical knowledge from the literature review, are conducted at the lowest possible cost and fully reversible. Related to this is the amount of time that is required for implemantation and low difficulty of the implementation. The gradual implementation of all optimizations is described in the practical part of this work preceeded by the stage in which the needed infomations are found. Those informations are compared with the new findings at the end of this work and final efects are presented to the company management. Conclusion of the thesis says, that even with relatively low input costs, some significant cost savings and increase in efficiency could be achieved. Almost all the bottlenecks that have been unveiled by observation, have been eliminated or greatly suppressed, causing the acceleration of value adding process. Financial impact of thid optimization are cost savings, that in the first year in which the optimization were implemented makes in total 377,407.58,- CZK and the theoretical cost savings for the following year are in total 431,307.58,- CZK. This thesis will also serve rhe company as a basis for future simple as well as continuos optimization methods.
