Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá zodpovězením otázky: Jaký postoj zastávají sociální pracovníci organizací poskytujících služby obětem trestných činů k medializaci obětí? Teoretická část se věnuje základním pojmům, jenž se váží k hlavní výzkumné otázce. Autorka se v této části věnovala vymezení pojmu postoje a také jeho základním charakteristikám, dále službám pro oběti trestných činů a sociálním pracovníkům v těchto službách. Prostor byl věnován činnosti médií a právnímu rámci s ohledem na medializaci obětí, tématu obětí trestných činů a práv obětí v kontextu medializace a v neposlední řadě samotné medializaci obětí, vývojem mediálního zájmu o oběti, výhodám a rizikům medializace a také sociální práci, která se dotýká medializace obětí trestných činů. V další části se autorka věnuje popisu získávání a analýze dat vedoucí k zodpovězení hlavní výzkumné otázky. To vše za využití kvalitativní výzkumné strategie, pro kterou autorka využila polostrukturovaných rozhovorů a následně otevřeného kódování. V závěru práce autorka věnuje prostor shrnutí základních získaných poznatků, ale také doporučením pro praxi a pro další výzkumy.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with answering the following questions: What is the attitude of the social workers working in organizations providing victim services and support towards media coverage of crime victims? The theoretical part deals with the basic concepts that are related to the main research question. In this part, the author deals with the definition of attitudes and their basic characteristics, regarding services for crime victims and social workers working in these social services. The author dedicated this thesis to the activities of the media and the legal framework with regard to the media coverage of victims, the topic of victims of crime and the rights of victims in the context of media coverage and, last but not least, the media coverage of victims themselves, the development of media interest in victims, the benefits and risks of mediation, crime victim media coverage. In the next part, the author deals with description of data acquisition and analysis leading to answering the main research plan. All this with the use of a good research strategy, for which the author used semi-structured interviews and then open coding. At the end of the work, the author summarized the basic knowledge she gained during the research, as well as recommendations for practice and further research.
