Folklore and Mysticism in Gogol's Short Story Vij. From the Author's Text to Contemporary Film Processing
Abstract:
In this thesis, we focus on comparing the film adaptations of the novel by Gogol Viy with the original novel. We also consider the differences of the films and peculiarities of the Ukrainian legends depicted in the Gogol‘s novel and subsequently in the films.
Abstract:
V této diplomové práci se věnujeme komparaci filmových zpracování povídky N. V. Gogola Vij s originálem díla. Zabýváme se také zkoumáním odlišností ve filmech a specifikou ukrajinských legend, ztvárněných v povídce a následně ve filmech.
