The role of central bank in the economy

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je analýza vývoje centrálního bankovnictví a jeho významu pro národní ekonomiku. Dalším cílem je zhodnocení budoucích perspektiv České národní banky v souvislosti se vstupem České republiky do eurozóny. První část práce je zaměřena na vývoj centrálního bankovnictví ve světě a na našem území. Dále je první část práce zaměřena na funkci centrálního bankovnictví v současnosti s tím, že velký důraz je kladen na měnovou politiku centrální banky. Druhá část práce je zaměřena na analýzu měnové politiky České národní banky a na její měnově politické nástroje. Práce se dále zabývá analýzou plnění měnových Maastrichtských konvergenčních kritérií a analýzou budoucích perspektiv České národní banky po přistoupení k eurozóně. V závěru druhé části se práce zabývá úkoly, které má a bude mít centrální banka při přechodu na jednotnou evropskou měnu.

Abstract:

The goal of this bachelor´s thesis is to analyze evolution of central banking and its importance fot the national economic. The next goal is the evaluation of future prospects of the Czech national bank in connection with the Czech republic´s accession to the euro area. The first part is focused on the evaluation of central banking in the world and in our country. Furthermore the first part is focused on the function of central banking in the present day with the fact that great importance is placed on monetary policy. The second part of the thesis is focused on the analysis of monetary policy of the Czech national bank and on its monetary policy instruments. The thesis is focused on analyzing the implementation of monetary Maastricht conrvengence criteria and the analysis of future prospects of the Czech national bank for accession to the euro area. At the end of the second part is the thesis focused on the tasks that has and will have Czech national bank in the transition to the euro area.
