Předkládaná diplomová práce se zabývá modernizací pohonu válcovací tratě a jeho řízením. Teoretická část se věnuje druhům elektrických pohonů používaných ve válcovnách a způsobům modernizace válcovacích tratí se stejnosměrnými pohony. The master thesis presents modernization of a drive of a milling stand and its control. The theoretical part deals with different types of drives usually used for rolling mills and various ways of modernization of rolling mills with DC drives.
