Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá ilustrací k lyrické poezii, konkrétně ke sbírce Smuténka Jana Skácela. V teoretické části je vymezena ilustrace a s ní související pojmy jako umělecká ilustrace, její formy či smysl umělecké ilustrace. Je zde také představena osobnost literáta Jana Skácela, jeho literární působení a aspekty jeho básnické tvorby. V rámci praktické části jsou vytvářeny ilustrace k vybraným básním oddílu Smuténka, a to technikou akvarelové malby, která je pojímána abstraktně. Vycházíme především z atmosféry a barevnosti básní, z motivu ticha, smutku, s cílem respektovat pokoru a čistotu básní. Stručně zde také představujeme techniku akvarelu, barvy a materiály, jež při malbě využíváme, seznamujeme s postupem práce a procesem vzniku ilustrací, což je doloženo fotografiemi. V této části práci jsou rovněž zmínění umělci jako inspirační zdroj při práci s akvarelovou malbou. Didaktická část je tvořena výtvarným projektem, jenž se skládá z výtvarných námětů reflektujících téma propojení obrazu a textu, má za cíl přiblížit studentům střední školy poezii prostřednictvím více smyslů. Jeho jednotlivé aspekty, příprava i realizace jsou u dvou námětů rozpracovány včetně doprovodných fotografií, jež zachycují výtvarnou práci studentů.

Abstract:

The thesis focuses on illustrations to lyric poetry, specifically to Jan Skácel's literary work Smuténka. The theoretical part defines illustration and related concepts such as art illustration, its forms and the meaning of art illustration. The thesis also outlines the personality of the writer Jan Skácel, his literary work and aspects of his poetic work. In the practical part, illustrations are created for selected poems of the Smuténka, using the technique of abstract watercolor painting. It starts from the atmosphere and color of the poems continues with the motive of silence and sadness, in order to respect the humility and purity of the poems. The techniques of watercolor, paints and materials that are used in painting are introduced in this section. The following chapter focuses on the process of work and the process of creating illustrations, which is evidenced by photographs. In this section of the thesis, artists who were the source of inspiration when working with watercolor painting are also mentioned. The didactic part consists of an art project which covers artistic theme reflecting the idea of the connection between image and text. It aims to introduce high school students to poetry through multiple senses. Its individual aspects, preparation and implementation are elaborated on two topics, including photographs, which capture the artistic work of students.
