Abstract:

Projektové řízení (též projektový management) je celosvětově rozšířená disciplína, jenž je v současnosti podporovaná různými mezinárodními organizacemi s vlastním specifickým pohledem na projektové řízení. Jednotlivé lišící se pohledy a přístupy tvoří širokou škálu možností, jak projektové řízení aplikovat v jednotlivých organizacích. Tato práce je zaměřena na kompetenčně orientované přístupy v oblasti informačních technologií. Hlavním cíle této práce je navrhnout a popsat systém klíčových kompetencí projektového manažera působícího v projektově orientované IT firmě. Tento systém by měl napomáhat v konsolidaci služeb poskytovaných v rámci projektového řízení v dané firmě. Na začátku práce jsou shrnuty základní vlastnosti projektového řízení a následně také obecné principy kompetenčně orientovaných přístupů v oblasti projektového řízení. Dále jsou uvedeny základní informace o mezinárodní organizaci IPMA a jí vydaným kompetenčně orientovaným standardem ICB v3.0. Standard ICB společně s následně popsanou metodologií Řízení podle kompetencí (MbC) tvoří základnu pro výsledný systém této práce. Jelikož je systém založen také na SSME přístupu, je i tento přístup stručně představen (zejména pak termíny T-shaped profesionál a Value proposition). Poslední část této diplomové práce je věnována již samotnému systému kompetencí IT projektového manažera. Na základě teoretických informací shrnutých v předchozích částech práce, je popsána množina klíčových úkolů a z nich odvozených kompetencí IT projektového manažera. Jako součást systému je popsán také nástroj a proces sloužící pro uchovávání a sdílení znalostí týkajících se jednotlivých kompetencí mezi jednotlivými projektovými manažery ve firmě.

Abstract:

Project management is a wide-spread discipline nowadays supported by various international organizations, each with specific point of view on the project management (i.e. process-based or competency-based project management). Particular organizations with their different attitudes provide wide spectrum of possibilities how to apply project management in a company. This thesis is aimed at competency-based attitudes in the field of information technologies. Main goal of the thesis is to design and describe the system of key IT project manager’s competencies in a project-driven company. This system should help to consolidate services provided in the frame of company project management. At the beginning of the thesis the foundational characteristics of the project management and consequently the general principles of the competency-based project management attitudes are described. Afterwards basic information is provided about International Project Management Association and their competency-based standard ICB v3.0 as well as the information about Management by Competencies methodology, which both creates the baseline for the resulting system of this thesis. In addition the system is based on SSME principles (especially the T-shaped professional and the Value proposition) which are therefore also described in this thesis. The last part of the thesis is devoted to the system of IT project manager competencies itself. Based on preceding theoretical information, the set of IT project manager tasks and derived competencies are identified. As the part of the system, the process has been described for enshrining and sharing the knowledge among project managers within the company with the help of Web 2.0 tools.
