IT Governance: mechanismy a principy pro řešení IT problémů

Abstract:

Za využití průzkumu dostupných IT Governance pracovních rámců a využití případové studie velké společnosti, tato teze demonstruje analýzu několika IT problémů a navrhuje jejich řešení za pomocí metod IT Governance. Navržené řešení, tedy oficiálně schválený a publikovaný dokument, řeší společnou příčinu všech vybraných IT problémů a tím poskytuje cestu jak může IT ovlivnit změny mimo své oddělení. V případě této studie, nedostatečná jmenná konvence způsobila několik problémů v rámci i mimo IT. Návrh řešení těchto problémů je realizován pomocí oficiálního dokumentu předloženého řídícímu orgánu společnosti, společně s jasným řetězcem hodnot vyjádřeným skrze sladění návrhu řešení vůči celkové podnikové strategii za pomoci pracovního rámce COBIT 2019.

Abstract:

Using research into available IT Governance frameworks and a case study of a large enterprise, the paper performs an analysis of several IT issues and proposes a solution using the methods of IT Governance. The solution, an officially approved and released document, addresses the root cause common to all selected issues and provides a way through which IT can affect changes outside its own department. In the case of this paper, specifically an inadequate naming convention causes several issues within and outside of IT and the proposal for a slight altering of the convention, to address the issues, takes the shape of an official document delivered to the company´s Executive Board for approval together with a clear value chain evidenced through the alignment of the solution to the overall business strategy via the COBIT 2019 framework.
