Partial discharge activities and possibilities of their detection

Abstract:

Tato práce je zaměřena na problematiku výbojové činnosti a popis degradačních mechanismů částečných výbojů. Jsou zde popsány jednotlivé metody detekce výbojové činnosti a přehled měřicích přístrojů pro detekci částečných výbojů spolu s jejich výrobci a distributoři. Práce je rozdělena na čtyři hlavní části: První část se zaměřuje na vznik částečných výbojů a jejich jednotlivé typy. V druhé části jsou popsány degradační účinky, které výboje způsobují uvnitř izolačního systému elektrických zařízení. Ve třetí části jsou uvedeny metody detekce částečných výbojů, které se provádí pomocí elektrických nebo neelektrických metod, kde každá přináší určité výhody, ale i nevýhody. Poslední čtvrtá kapitola je věnována používaným měřicím přístrojům na tento druh detekce a jejich významným výrobcům a distributorům v České republice.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with partial discharge activities and description of partial discharge degradation mechanisms. There are described individual methods of partial discharge detection and summary of measuring instruments for detection partial discharge, their producers and distributors. The first part deals with generation partial discharge and their individual types. The second chapter describes degradation mechanisms of partial discharges inside the insulation system of power equipments. The third chapter introduces the measurement methods of partial discharges. The measurement provides many advantages and disadvantages. They depend on a type of measuring method. The last chapter attends to measuring instruments of partial discharges and their important producers and distributors in the Czech Republic.
