Tato diplomová práce psaná formou literární rešerše se zabývá problematikou neurogeneze, tedy procesem vzniku nových nervových buněk. Cílem předkládané práce je shrnout aktuální poznatky týkající se neurogeneze u obratlovců, její průběh v období embryogeneze, po narození a zejména v období dospělosti. This diploma thesis written in a form of a literature search deals with neurogenesis, a process of formation of new neural cells. The aim of this review is to summarize current knowledge of neurogenesis in vertebrates.
