Modern firearms and ammunition and their usage

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce Novodobé palné zbraně a munice a jejich využití pojednává o inovativních technologiích v oblasti konstrukce palných zbraní, munice a příslušenství. Je zaměřena především na vývoj nových zbraní a jejich potenciální využití pro ozbrojené složky (armáda a policie). Některé popsané technologie jsou stále ve stádiu výzkumu, ale jsou natolik slibné, že se pravděpodobně dočkáme jejich nasazení v praxi. Dále jsou v práci popsány nejmodernější palné zbraně, které jsou již v současné době používány armádami nebo ozbrojenými složkami ve světě. Cílem práce je vytvořit přehled novinek ve zbrojním průmyslu, který by mohl být užitečný pro ozbrojené složky uvažující o inovaci svého arsenálu. Z toho důvodu je práce zpracována formou literární rešerše. Zahrnuta je myšlenka nejen zvýšení výkonu zbraní, ale i bezpečnosti a v neposlední řadě ekologie.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis Modern firearms and ammunition and its usage describes innovative technologies in firearms constructions, ammunition, and its accessories. It focuses mainly on recent development in firearms and its potential use for law enforcement and army forces. Some described technologies are still in development stage, but they are so interesting, that there is a decent chance we will meet them in practice. The thesis also describes the most modern firearms which development is already finished, and they are used by army and law enforcement units in different countries. The main goal of this work is to create a catalogue of innovations in weapon industry. For that reason, it’s processed in the form of literary research. It includes not only the idea of increasing guns power but also considers safety and ecology.
