Abstract:
Práce etnografickou metodou popisuje dění v Církvi Ježíše Krista Svatých posledních dnů, misionářskou činnost a konverzní strategie. Na tomto základě je potom rozvíjeno zkoumání problematiky moci a mocenských technologií, které ve výzkumném terénu působily. Teoretický rámec je vystavěn především na myšlenkách Michela Foucalta a jeho konceptu governmentality.
Abstract:
This thesis, which is written by using an ethnographic method, describes what is happening in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, missionary activities and conversion strategies. On the basis of previously mentioned is then developed the examination of issues concerning power and power technologies which operated in the research field.
