V prvních kapitolách diplomové práce je čtenář seznámen s politikou Karla IV., která jej vynesla až na císařský trůn. Nejde o stručný výtah, ale o několik esejů doprovázených výroky Vladaře. Srovnání politiky českého krále a císaře římského s myšlenkami renesančního filozofa Niccoló Machiavelliho má vyústění ve dvanácti hodnotách. Abstract:
In the first chapters in my diploma thesis, the reader familiarizes with Charles IV’s policy that enabled him to reach the throne. This is not a short abstract but some essays accompanying The Prince’s sentences. The confrontation the policy of Czech king and emperor with the ideas of renaissance philosopher Niccoló Machiavelli ends in twelve qualities. These twelve ideas are put into current society …more
