My thesis deals with the generational confilct between the father and his daughter. I have chosen the novel "Jáchymov" by Austrian author Josef Haslinger as a model. The topic of this thesis is to determine the role that the father played in the life of the daughter, and how she was able to cope with his loss. Tématem této diplomové práce je generační konflikt ve vztahu otce a dcery na příkladu románu "Jáchymov" od rakouského spisovatele Josefa Haslingera. Cílem této práce je zjistit, jakou roli v živote dcery zaujímal její otec a jak je dcera schopná se vyrovnat s jeho ztrátou. Největší pozornost je věnována vztahu dcery k otci a to i po smrti, které jsou blíže charakterizovány a podloženy ukázkami z románu …more
