Tato diplomová práce se zabývá světovou fantasy literaturou pro děti mladšího školního věku. Skládá se ze dvou hlavních částí - teoretická a aplikační. První část popisuje žánr fantasy a jeho rysy, které jsou zkoumány a popsány v kontextu pěti vybraných děl (Čaroděj ze země Oz, Letopisy Narnie, Hobit aneb Cesta tam a zase zpátky, Harry Potter a Kámen mudrců a Kronika rodu Spiderwicků). This diploma thesis deals with world fantasy literature for children of younger school age. It consists of two main parts - theoretical part and application part. The first part describes fantasy genre and its features, which are examined and described in the context of five selected works. It also evaluates their didactic potential.
