Financial analysis of the company ABB s.r.o.

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá finanční analýzou společnosti ABB s.r.o. v letech 2012–2016. Cílem práce je zhodnotit a podat ucelený přehled o finančním zdraví podniku. Zdroje finančních informací jsou čerpány z účetní závěrky a výroční zprávy. Práce se skládá ze dvou částí. Metodická část pokládá teoretický základ zaměřený na definování postupu a metod ohodnocení. Praktická část se skládá z horizontální a vertikální analýzy účetních výkazů, analýzy poměrovými ukazateli a predikce finanční tísně společnosti pomocí Kralicekova testu a Altmanova Z-faktoru.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with financial analysis of the company ABB s.r.o. for the years of 2012 – 2015. The goal of the thesis is to determine and give a comprehensive overview of the financial health of the company. The sources of financial information are drawn from financial statements and annual reports. Whole thesis is divided into two parts. Methodical part provides theoretical foundation focused on defining a procedure and evaluation methods. The practical part consists of horizontal and vertical analysis of financial statements, analysis of financial indicators and prediction of financial distress with the help of Kralicek’s test and Altman’s Z-score.
