Život a zdraví - dva pojmy neodmyslitelně spojené s existencí člověka. Hodnoty, bez kterých by nebylo hodnot dalších, kterými jsou svoboda, důstojnost a nedotknutelnost. Tyto principy prostupují právem na tělesnou a duševní integritu a právem na ochranu před zásahy do tohoto práva.
