Treatment of fractures of long bones and pelvic ring in the prehospital emergency care.

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou zlomenin dlouhých kostí a pánve s důrazem na poskytování přednemocniční neodkladné péče. V teoretické části je čtenář seznámen s informacemi o kostech v obecné rovině. Jsou v ní shrnuty stavba a funkce kosti a její regenerace, specifika dětského skeletu, popis kostry horních a dolních končetin, informace o zlomeninách, jejich symptomatologie, diagnostika, klasifikace a základní principy terapie. Další kapitola je zaměřena na popis jednotlivých typů zlomenin v segmentech dlouhých kostí a pánve. Práce dále pojednává o léčbě zlomenin v přednemocničním období. Jsou v ní popsány doporučení, kterými by se měl řídit laický zachránce při poskytování základní první pomoci, dále pak specifika odborné první pomoci včetně postupů při imobilizaci zlomenin a popisu jednotlivých typů imobilizačních pomůcek. V praktické části práce je rozepsáno 6 kazuistik klientů s prodělaným traumatem pohybového ústrojí. Kazuistiky dvou klientů jsou rozšířeny o nemocniční fázi. V diskuzi jsou jednotlivé kazuistiky podrobněji rozebrány.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis primarily deals with fractures of long bones and pelvis with emphasis on the provision of prehospital emergency care. In the theoretical part the reader is familiar with the information about the bones in general. It summarizes the structure and function of bone and its regeneration, the specifics of children's skeletal description of the skeleton of the upper and lower extremities, information on fractures, their symptoms, diagnosis, classification and basic principles of therapy. The next chapter focuses on the description of the fracture types in many parts of long bones and pelvis. The thesis also discusses the treatment of fractures in pre-hospital period. There are described recommendations that should be guide the lay rescuer to provide basic first aid, as well as the specifics of professional first aid, including procedures for the immobilization of fractures and describe the various types of immobilization devices. The exploratory part is written as six case studies of clients who have suffered the trauma of the musculoskeletal system. Case reports of two clients are expanded by the hospital phase. Case reports are discussed in more detail in the discussion.
