Záměrem této bakalářské práce je rozpoznat a analyzovat prvky humoru, satiry a ironie v Canterburských povídkách Geoffreyho Chaucera a v některých jejich filmových adaptacích. Abstract:
The intention of this thesis is to identify and analyze the elements of humour, satire and irony in Chaucer‘s Canterbury Tales and some of their film adaptations. In the first part, Chaucer’s personal circumstances and the comicality of the Tales as well as its protagonists are presented.
