A comparative study of translations of The Peril at End House by Agatha Christie
Abstract:
Cílem této bakalářské práce je porovnání a analýza dvou překladů knihy Dům na úskalí, napsané slavnou britskou spisovatelkou Agathou Christie. Poprvé byla kniha přeložena roku 1932 překladatelkou Hanou Polákovou. Druhý překlad byl vydán roku 2005 a přeložila jej Veronika Volhejnová. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí. Abstract:
The aim of this thesis is to compare and analyse two translations of the book The Peril at End House, a detective novel by a famous British author Agatha Christie. The first translation, written by Hana Poláková was published in 1932. The second translation, by Veronika Volhejnová was published in 2005. The thesis is divided into two parts.
