Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou výběru vzorků v auditu, auditorského rizika a materiality. Cílem této práce je přiblížit metody výběru vzorků v auditu a vyhodnotit výběrové metody na konkrétním příkladu. Práce se skládá ze čtyř hlavních kapitol, které se postupně věnují auditu a jeho významu, auditorskému riziku, jeho významu při stanovení významnosti (materiality) a dále statistickému a nestatistickému výběru vzorků v auditu. V poslední kapitole je představen příklad výběru vzorků z praxe a je provedeno porovnání výběrových metod na základě dat, které byly získaný z analýzy daných statistických výběrových metod.

Abstract:

This master's thesis focuses on sampling in auditing, audit risk, and materiality. The aim of this thesis is to present the methods of sample selection in auditing and evaluate the sampling methods through a specific example. The thesis consists of four main chapters, which progressively address auditing and its significance, audit risk and its importance in determining materiality, as well as statistical and non-statistical sampling in auditing. The final chapter presents a practical example of sample selection and compares sampling methods based on data obtained from the analysis of chosen statistical sampling methods.
