Rating of pfyzical fitness for 2nd degree elementary Schools in Prague

Abstract:

V diplomové práci "Hodnocení tělesné zdatnosti 2. stupně vybraných základních škol v Praze" se zabývám testováním tělesné zdatnosti a jeho aktuálním vývojem na základních školách. Nejdřív je v teoretické části definována zdatnost a její komponenty a co nejvíc má na ni vliv společně s definicí tělesné výchovy a přístupu k ní. K tomu je provedena menší analýza současných výzkumů a zahraničních studií v oblasti tělesné zdatnosti a vlivu protiepidemických opatření na její vývoj. Ve výzkumné části různými statistickými testy byla zkoumána data získaná díky projektu Sazka OVOV. Tato data byla následně vyhodnocena a také posuzována proti jiným podobným výzkumům. I když se nepodařilo zachytit u absolutní většiny testů negativní sekulární trend, tak v závěru této práce si dovolujeme potvrdit, že zdravotně orientovaná zdatnost u této věkové kategorie se spíše zhoršuje. Není to však tak rapidní, jak společnost míní.

Abstract:

In my thesis "Physical fitness assessment of 2nd grade of selected primary schols in Prague" I deal with physical fitness testing and its current development in primary schools. First, the theoretical part defines fitness and its components and what influences it most, together with the definition of physical education and the approach to it. To do this a small analysis of current research and foreing studies in the field of physical fitness and the impact of anti-epidemic measures on its development is made. In the research part, various statistical tests were used to examine the data obtained thanks to the Sazka OVOV project. This data was then evaluated and also assessed against other similar research. Although we were not able to detect a negative secular trend for the absolute majority of the tests, we conclude this paper by confirming that health-related fitness in this age group is rather deteriorating. However, i tis not as rapid as society thinks.
