What Charles Murray means by race?

Abstract:

Charles Alan Murray is an American writer and political scientist. Murray is a well-known writer, mainly for his work in the books such as The Bell Curve, Human Diversity and Facing reality which are full of controversy concerning the race, predictions of future and social structures. In my paper, I would like to prove that Murray has no concrete idea about the term race. His work is filled with numerous statements, scientific findings and hopes for future. However, all of them fails to deliver solid answer to the question of what his idea of race is.

Abstract:

Charles Alan Murray je americký spisovatel a politolog. Murray se proslavil svou prací na několika knihách, těmi jsou The Bell Curve, Human Diversity and Facing reality, které jsou plné kontroverzí. Kontroverzí zabývajícími se rasou, předpověďmi budoucnosti a sociálních struktur. V této práci bych chtěl dokázat, že Murray nemá plnohodnotnou představu o tom, co rasa je. Jeho knihy jsou naplněny různými závěry, vědeckými poznatky a doufáním v lepší budoucnost. Avšak, nic z toho nedokáže odpovědět na otázku o tom, co si Murray myslí.
